Hi from home!!

Hi SJE!

Just wanted to say, hello from home!! I miss all of you so much. I am hoping to get some music materials for you to do at home soon but for now, sing a little bit every day, play some musical games (both physical and virtual!), and stay healthy!

I will be in touch again soon! I would love to hear from you! If you were planning on presenting for Music Show and Tell this week (2nd-5th grade), please share!! Would love to see your projects! It would certainly make me smile!!

3rd Grade Performance

The date for the 3rd Grade Heritage Day Performance will be November 22nd, 2019

4th grade chorus

I am pleased to announce that fourth grade students will be offered the opportunity to join a before-school chorus beginning this school year.  The chorus will meet one time per week on Tuesday's beginning September 24th, 2019 from 8:40 AM – 9:20 AM.  The music teacher will be at the entrance between 8:30 AM and 8:40 AM to greet arriving students.  Participation in this program offers a fantastic opportunity to expand your child’s creative horizons.  It will be expected that students attend the before-school rehearsals to participate in the musical performances.  If your child chooses to participate, please sign-up online at http://www.smithtown.k12.ny.us/departments/fine_arts by Thursday, September 12^th.
